End of summer blues...
I am having a hard time accepting that 2024 summer is almost over. Winter is not my season. Although Christmas is great. I think that's the one day out of all of winter that can stay, and the rest of the days can go to hell. To prolong the summer vibes, I decided to host a day of Beach Mini Sessions on a beach in Strathmere, NJ. We got super lucky with PERFECT weather, and the beach was totally empty, so each client didn't have to worry about random passerby's photobombing in the background.
I met up with 5 amazing families, each with their own unique personalities and stories to tell. I love talking to people, and hearing about other's lives, so doing that as part of my job is pretty cool. We collected shells, jumped in waves, and laid in the sand, all of my favorite beach activities. I try to capture my Mini Sessions in a more "documentary" style, rather than traditional family photos. I want to take photos of your family interacting, hanging out, and just having fun. That way you can look back at these photos and remember the laughter, not just the age you were.
