Sarah Johnson, lead singer of Caring Less,
went to the same high school as me. We were in the same graduating class and even though we never really spoke during high school I always remember her as an artistic person. A few years post college grad, I came across Sarah's new band called Caring Less on instagram and was blown away by their talent. Not to mention the capacity for which Sarah has to sing. I was thrilled when they asked me to photograph their show at a local venue in Philly, and immediately took up the opportunity to see them live.
The venue was dark, and crowded, and surprisingly quiet at first, but when Caring Less came on stage... all eyes were on them. The show itself was awesome. Sarah's vocals carried through the room without any flaw, and the band kept the energy immaculate. I found myself forgetting that I was even doing a photo job, I was doing what I love, and seeing a band that will no doubt blow up, what more could I ask for? I 10000% recommend going to see them live if ever given the opportunity - you won't regret it.
